Premier League Darts Week 10 Motorpoint Arena, Sheffield

James Wade Vs Gary Anderson

I won`t even touch on last weeks performance other than to say i think James let him self down badly and let things annoy him that shouldn't have and its always when he plays Lewis. This week i hope he lets his darts do th talking and this should be a fairly comfortable win.

Simon Whitlock Vs Kevin Painter

Simon bounced back from his poor run of form to win against Anderson 8-2. If his form hasn't deserted him he`ll take Painter to the cleaners..

Phil Taylor Vs Raymond van Barneveld

Phil looked a shadow of himself last week and just didn't look focused but won 8-6 Against Hamilton never the less, Raymond is playing well but i think Phil will win this one around 8-6, 8-5.

Gary Anderson Vs Andy Hamilton

Andy is quite a slow thrower and i can see this frustrating Gary who likes to get on with it. Hamilton did well against Taylor last week so goes into this game with some added confidence.

The Masters 2012 Betfair Trading Preview

The Masters 2012 Betfair Trading Preview..

Its almost here, and the players have been getting ready all week for the start of this years Masters Golf championship, but where is the trading value?

First up we have 3 Favs which are Tiger Woods, Rory Mcilroy and Phil Mickelson, I will be ignoring all these to start off with as i search for better value.. but i wouldn't be surprised to see any of these leading going into round 4.

Looking at the odds currently on offer, there is potentially a hat full of players i would consider are way over priced and have a decent chance of getting into the mix, the best of these big outsiders are as follows.

Jason Dufner @ 140.0
Peter Hanson @ 210.0
John Senden @ 220.0
Sang-Moon Bae  @ 210.0
Johnson Wagner @ 190.0

Next up we have some mid to high priced contenders, these are as follows.

Bubba Watson @ 55.0
Adam Scott @ 34
Keegan Bradley @ 38.0
Hunter Mahan @ 36.0
Justin Rose 32.0
Charl Schwartzel (Defending Champion) @ 48.0
Luke Donald @ 17.0

Trading in play is definitely the way to go at the Masters, 1 tip i have been given is to back a player once he safely finds the green on 12 as the next 3 holes are the easiest stretch on the course and where a lot of birdies and eagles will be picked up by the top players.

One thing for sure is, its going to be 1 heck of a Masters as Tiger woods won for the first time in a while last time out showing a true return to form.

So whats the strategy?  well all i do is try and catch players as they shorten and usually just back for a stake of £10 and then Lay for the same stake at the shorter odds, if you do this on all the players in contention then you can build up quite a nice profit as they continue to shorten.

Example 1:  Back Hunter Mahan £10 @ 36.0 = £350 then Lay @ 32.00 = -£310 giving us a free bet on him for £40 and repeat on him and other players, its easy to see how a nice profit can be made :)

The higher the odds, the more profit,

Example 2 :  Back Jason Dufner £10 @ 140.0 = £1390 then Lay @ 100 = -£990 giving us a free bet on him for £400. If he continues to shorten you`ll be able to green up some of that profit across all players.

Keep it green!

Premier League Darts Week 9 Capital FM Arena, Nottingham

Kevin Painter         -       Raymond van Barneveld
Adrian Lewis         -       James Wade
Andy Hamilton         -     Phil Taylor
Simon Whitlock         -   Gary Anderson

Green = My Selection

First up we have Kevin vs Raymond, both players lost quite heavily last week so will be looking to bounce back, out of the 2 players, Raymond has showed the best recent form so im siding with him, it might also be worth having a dabble on Raymond most 180s and first 180 as Painter is not in the same league when it comes to treble 20 bashing!

Next up  we have the unpredictable Mr Lewis vs In form James Wade who won 8-0 against Whitlock last week, so i can only see this one going Wades way.

Phil Taylor , you just cant back against at the moment.. Last week i dutched the scorelines 8-2, 8-3 and 8-4 in his match and traded out with a profit on each scoreline. A similar bet this week will do the business again.

Last up we have Whitlock vs Anderson, we saw a very out of sorts Whitlock last week, something i picked up on the week before, as he seams to have had a dip in his form. Back Anderson to win this one.

Shell Houston Open 2012

This week is the Shell Houston Open, a warm up for The Masters, next week, This week Lee Westwood and defending champion Phil Mickelson head the betting before Thursdays tee offs. Are these the players to put your money on or is there better value elsewhere? I think so!

In the past 3 weeks, i have been trading on the PGA TOUR golf, and backed some huge odds, only for them to open up with a great 1st round, meaning a nice profit we can use to further make money without having any major risk, below are the players i think will do well in the early stages, allowing us to trade out for a nice profit.

Keegan Bradley @ 20.0 Always opens with good rounds, just needs to put 4 days together to find his next win.

Graeme McDowell @ 29.0 Came 2nd to Tiger Woods last week, after some great putting.

Ernie Els @ 34.0 - Still looking to get into the Masters with a win here, has finished in the top 5 in the last 2 weeks.

Johnson Wagner @ 34.0 Past winner here, currently No.1 on the FedExCup standings, 3rd on the PGA money list and the winner of the Sony Open in Hawaii this year.

John Senden @ 50.0 has finished in the top 10 in 3 of his 6 outings this year, and is playing well currently if he can just get his putter working he can come close this week.

Charl Schwartzel @ 26 will be looking for a good week ahead of the Masters, as returning champion.

Outside bet of the week.
Padraig Harrington @65.0 Came out 2 weeks ago and shot a course record 61 (-10) on day 1 at the Transitions Championship, before fading back and finishing T20.

Premier League Darts Week 8

Adrian Lewis v Andy Hamilton
James Wade v Simon Whitlock
Kevin Painter v Phil Taylor
Raymond van Barneveld v Adrian Lewis

Sadly Gary Anderson will not be appearing this week, as he will be attending his fathers funeral, my thoughts go out to Gary and his family at this tough time.

This means Adrian Lewis will play 2 games this week, first off he plays Andy Hamilton who did well enough last week to secure a 7-7 Draw with Whitlock, which shocked a lot of people and no doubt scuppered a lot of doubles, trebles and accumulators across the country.

Although Lewis won quite easily in the end last week, i think the slow pace set my Hamiltons throw will mean a  frustrtated Lewis will come off 2nd best in this one.

Next we have James Wade vs Whitlock, a tough one to call really, James played Taylor last week and got beat quite heavily although the game was a lot closer than the score line would suggest. Whitlock looked a little out of sorts last week, so Im going to side with Wade on this one.. although Laying Whitlock is the smart move as this gives us the draw too.

Kevin Painter vs Taylor, Painter did give Taylor a good run for his money when they first met this year before Taylor came flying back to take the spoils, This time i think Taylor will win quite a lot easier, A handicap bet on Taylor would be a good idea here.

Raymond Barneveld vs Lewis, Raymond is playing some great darts this year, he plays a lot faster than Hamilton and this will suit Lewis, this should be a close game, but im going to side with the Dutchman by laying Lewis to include the drawer in our Arsenal..

Thanks for Reading
